How I Got a B2C Brand 30K Reddit Views in 2 Days

Just imagine what a single post can do for a brand. We got around 21K views within the first 21 hours in a relevant Reddit community. And that's not it, I noticed it reaching 30K views in just 2 days. 

I promoted a marketplace that serves B2C customers. In a single day, we were able to rank #1 in that subreddit. 

So let me take you back and show you how it all started. 

I talked to the customer support team at this company and asked them who our happy customers are and what their results have been like. 

Out of everything they gave me, I pulled the best ones and picked the one I thought was the strongest. Basically, I took the raw data the support team handed me and turned it into something organized.

Out of those stories, I picked one, and then I acted as the customer myself and posted it in a relevant subreddit as that customer's story. 

To make it believable I wrote it in an improper English so that it sounds nice. Otherwise, it takes a few minutes to smell an experienced content writer like me from a miles away. 

We posted a few screenshots from the dashboard to back it up, and that's what got the community to believe us. I know this sounds like it could be scamming people, but you have to do something to get exposure out there, and it's not really a scam. 

We told the real customer story. We just posed as that customer to tell it. We only used their data to portray the story, not their name. I think that's pretty much into the grey area, so I don't think it's a big issue here.

The best part is the brand's name was right there in the post title, so that's another win.

Also the customer support team handled the negative comments with me. That's the story, and it happened somewhere within 24 to 48 hours. Actually, I wouldn't say a full 48 hours, more like 24 to 46 hours.
