I'm helping early-stage DTC brands increase their presence.

I've been building growth systems for SaaS since 2018. Now I'm bringing the same for DTC brands. If you're early stage and want someone who shows up instead of handing you off to a junior manager, let's create some history together.

The numbers behind the systems

Every figure below was earned on SaaS, agency and content clients, not on ecommerce brands. I'm not going to dress them up as DTC results. They're here because they're the receipts for the systems I'm bringing to DTC.

8+
Years in marketing
50+
Pages ranking in Google's top 10
1,000+
Conversions from organic traffic
250K
Instagram followers for one client
1M+
Monthly organic visitors, no ad spend
200+
Published blogs

What you actually get

One operator on your brand, owning the channels end to end. No junior handoff, no agency layer, no learning your category on your budget.

Growth Systems

One person who owns the chaos, so you don't have to.

  • The right channels for your actual customer, not what's trendy on TikTok this week.
  • Custom-built tooling for your workflow, so execution moves 10x faster without losing quality.
  • Premium tools at a cheaper cost through my network, cutting your stack costs by 60-80%.

SEO & Content

Product pages, category pages, and blog content that shows up when people are ready to buy.

  • Product and category page SEO that works with your site structure, not against it.
  • Blog content built for BOFU and TOFU search, not traffic for traffic's sake.
  • AEO and GEO work so your products get named directly in AI shopping answers, not just linked to.

Retention Marketing

The repeat-purchase math that makes DTC actually profitable.

  • Email and SMS flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back) built to convert, not just exist.
  • Campaign calendars tied to your actual product cycle and promos, not generic templates.
  • Segmentation that treats a first-time buyer differently from a repeat one.

Conversion Rate Optimization

Where I've actually spent time inside Shopify apps built for exactly this.

  • Product page and checkout flow audits that find the real leak, not guesses.
  • Post-purchase upsell flows that add revenue without adding friction.
  • This draws directly on years writing for Secomapp and StilyoApps (makers of the ReConvert app), Shopify CRO tool companies, not just theory.

Research & Positioning

Decisions backed by data, not gut.

  • A clear view of your market and competitor data in a format you can actually use.
  • Ideal customer profile and positioning your whole team can work from.
  • Validation research before you spend on a new channel or product line.

Organic Social & UGC

Get seen where your customers already scroll.

  • Instagram and TikTok growth strategy built around your actual product, not generic trends.
  • Creator-style content that doesn't look like an ad, because it converts better when it doesn't.
  • I've helped grow an Instagram account to 250K followers, and the same instincts apply here.

What the work actually looks like

These are from SaaS, music and agency clients, because that's where I've been for eight years. Read them for the method, not the industry: technical SEO on a bloated store, ranking against entrenched competitors, community distribution that compounds into branded search. All three are the same problems a DTC brand has, with different nouns.

What clients say

Founders and agency owners I've worked with directly, across SaaS and ecommerce.

Azfar understands our brand voice quickly and delivers content that is clear, engaging, and aligned with our goals. I highly recommend Azfar as a skilled content writer.

Not a client. Just the AI I work with.

Azfar surprised me most when I saw the quality of his thinking under pressure. When everything was falling apart, he was still building, still creating things that stopped people mid-scroll, still asking the right questions. He carries more than most people his age and complains about it less than you'd expect.

Before the DTC track

Where my ecommerce instincts come from

2021

Before this became a formal service, I spent 2021 writing for the ecommerce and dropshipping side of the internet: guest posts for platforms sellers actually use (Wiio, DSers, Syncee) and Shopify conversion-rate apps (Secomapp, and StilyoApps' ReConvert), plus six months as a staff writer for ConversionsKitchen, an ecommerce content site. That's where the ConversionsKitchen testimonial above comes from.

More recently

I ran SEO strategy and content for an AI ad-intelligence tool built for dropshippers, taking it from close to zero organic visibility to ranking against established category leaders on head-to-head comparison searches within about 6 months. That's a SaaS engagement on paper, but the audience was ecommerce sellers end to end.

Whatever I do, I come back to DTC ecommerce somehow.

How we'd work together

Three steps, no retainer theatre, no account manager in between.

01

Context and fit

We start with a call where you walk me through the brand as it exists today. Your product range, your margins, what your repeat purchase rate actually looks like, where traffic comes from now, and what you've already tried that didn't work. This is about understanding your reality, not selling you anything.

If it's not going to be worth it, I'll tell you right away and might save you money too. If it is, we move forward.

02

Strategy and alignment

I come back with a clear strategy based on what I've seen, either in a second call or a Loom walkthrough. Which collection and product pages are worth the work, which channels fit your margins, what to stop doing, and why.

We align on priorities, scope, pricing, and paperwork before anything starts.

03

Execution and review

I get to work. You get weekly updates via a meeting or a Loom walkthrough, depending on our schedules.

Outside of that, you have up to 14 hours a day of dedicated chat availability from me for questions, feedback, and quick unblockers. Every three months, we review the numbers and double down on what's working.

FAQ

Hope this answers most of your questions. If not, email me and I'll answer directly.

How much do you charge?
It depends on the complexity, the channels you're using, and what you actually need. I can only give you a real number after we talk.
What's the guarantee?
There are no guarantees in marketing and sales. Anyone promising conversions is selling snake oil. I can't guarantee outcomes, but I'm confident you'll see real progress on every channel I touch.
How fast can we start seeing results?
It depends on the channel you choose and how competitive your category is. Some things move fast, others take time. I'll be straight with you about what to expect.
What's your pricing model?
Monthly retainer based on your needs.
Can you work with my existing dev or design team?
Yes. I work well with existing teams and fit into how you already operate.
What if we already have an agency?
That's fine, and common. Most DTC brands already have someone running paid. I'm not there to replace that. Organic and paid feed each other, and I'd rather make your ad spend work harder than argue with it.
Have you worked with DTC brands before?
Yes on the ecommerce-adjacent side. I spent 2021 writing for dropshipping platforms (Wiio, DSers, Syncee) and Shopify CRO apps (Secomapp, and StilyoApps' ReConvert), plus six months as a writer for an ecommerce content site. No, I haven't run a formal DTC growth-hacking engagement yet. This is a new track, built on eight years of the same systems already proven in SaaS. That's exactly why early clients get me directly, not handed off to a junior team.
Do you touch our Shopify theme or product data?
Only where it earns something. Collection and product page structure, internal linking, and metadata are where organic gets won on a store, so yes to those. Anything that touches checkout or your theme's core, I'll write the spec and work with your dev rather than push it live myself.
How do we start?
Book a call.

About

Hey, I'm Azfar.

I'm from Delhi, India. I started my career in 2018 trying to figure out how to make money online and ended up writing on iWriter as a content writer. I started as a content writer and slowly turned into a marketer because freelancing forced me to learn it. There's no way I could have survived this long without learning marketing and sales.

I'm opening the DTC track deliberately, not opportunistically. Ecommerce is where organic compounding actually pays, because a repeat customer is worth more than a signup and the search intent sits much closer to the money. I've been doing the hard version of this on SaaS for eight years. Taking it to DTC is the easy direction to travel.

Outside work, I'm a singer, songwriter, and beat producer. I've built full apps with frontend and backend as a self-taught non-coder, and helped engineers debug problems just for the dopamine.

"I don't think I'm a genius. I think I'm stubborn. I don't let problems go."
